Green Key Award : a gateway to an eco-responsible commitment

The Green Key Certificate has been created in Denmark since 1994. It values institutions such as hotels, lodges and bed & breakfast which support energy transition. The program is alive in 54 countries ans has rewarded several places around the world. The non-governmental organisation Green Key helps many accommodations to propose very low ecological footprint with innovative technologies.

How to obtain this certificate ?

The candidats have to respect a whole number of criteria to win this precious label :

• sorting waste
• the use of natural ressources
• sustainable mobility
• sustainable food
• …

The Green Key Label is granted following an independent audit and a valuation of the company by environmental and tourism experts. It is renewed each year if the institution continues to meet the standards. Environmental sector and applicable laws evolve so quickly !
